Independent label: AED (Analogue Enhanced Digital) was formed in late 2011. by Edwyn Collins and James Endeacott, who worked at Rough Trade. Edwyn Collins has owned and recorded for independent labels all his career, beginning in in 1979 when he, along with Alan Horne, had the idea that became Postcard Records of Scotland. Many of the records have been recorded and produced by Edwyn and Seb Lewsley at West Heath Yard Studios in West Hampstead, London. It issued singles in an AED-0000 numerical series. Distributed By AED Records.
