HIDEOUS
RECORDS
Independent label: Hideous Records was a record label established by
the now defunct alternative rock band Reuben. They founded the label in 2007
after leaving their previous label Xtra Mile Records, due to financial issues
towards their then-upcoming album In Nothing We Trust. Hideous Records never
signed any other bands during its short-lived existence, and only ever releases
by the band Reuben themselves. The label's final release of the TwoByThree EP
however features two songs each from the bands The Ghost Of A Thousand and
Baddies, though they were never actually signed to the label. It
managed one single. It issued singles in an HDS-000V numerical series.
Reuben was an English three-piece musical group from Camberley, Surrey. he band
formed in 1998 when singer/guitarist Jamie Lenman and bassist Jon Pearce
originally played with Producer Jason Wilson (Stakeout Studios) on drums.
