HYSTERION
RECORDS
Hysterion Records was a DIY label. It managed one
single. This vinyl-only 7" EP was an exclusive release for Record Store Day on
20 April. The EP features 'Three Guitars Mood 2', 'The Eyelash' and 'Latin
Gear', three tracks familiar from William Hartnell episodes of Doctor Who. The
back cover features a handy guide to the hypnotic rhythms that entranced the
Doctor’s granddaughter in the very first episode. The record
is a limited edition of 1000 copies, and each one is stickered with a unique
number. The vast majority of these sold out at independent record shops on 20
April. It issued singles in an HYS-000 numerical series. John Smith and the
Common Men, originally known as simply the Common Men, was a music group in
1960s. The Common Men originally consisted of three members: Mark Carville,
James O'Meara and Korky Goldsmith. Distributed By Little Amber
Fish Records.
