Independent label: Jack & Dany Records managed at least one singles. It issued singles in an RQSD-000 numerical series. Ambershades was Formed 2001in Waterloo Studios London. Davey La and Ben Castle - both producers who decided to start writing and recording their own material. Band members Davey La (vocals), Ben Castle (vocals, guitar), Paul Beard (vocals, keyboards), John Hillier (vocals, bass), Terry Kirkbride (drums). Their debut album, Clap Clap Clap became one of the most critically-acclaimed albums of 2005. Ambershades have been virtually absent from the musical scene since the release of the album after two members joined the backing band of James Blunt. With two members based in New York and the rest in the UK, it is looking unlikely we’ll hear from Ambershades. Distributed By Jack & Dany Records.
