Independent label: Kitchen Records was Formed in April 2000 by Laurence Dillon aka The Fabulous Nobody Kitchen Records was a very small, home-based label with a strong stress upon the DIY ethic which came into existence during the late 1990s. Roster consists of several bands including Horowitz, Fabulous Nobody and - prior to their split - By Coastal Café. The preference is for the vinyl 7" format where possible, but Kitchen has also released vinyl LPs. Releases are manufactured by the Czech plant GZ with the average run being around 500 copies. Kitchen has friendly links with the Cambridge-based print zine Robots and Electronic Brains, run by Jimmy Possession. It issued singles in an TS-000 numerical series.
